The wreath follows the slope of the street, and its connection with the recessed atrium is solved through two passages. The deep facade with verticals multiplied through four levels forms a spatial profile behind the glass membrane, like a mirror image of richly articulated historical facades. The fifth floor is retracted to open the restaurant terrace, suspended between roofs under a metal canopy, diagonally cut in the direction of the view. The density of construction elements ensures earthquake resistance and determines the hierarchy of rooms. Mineral materiality includes surfaces of fluted in-situ reinforced concrete walls, rough granite cubes and polished slabs of blue-purple, grey as concrete, red as meat and Proconnesian marble with flat vertical stripes, then red, white and blue textiles of different transparencies and weaves, domestic oak and aluminium foam from the Canadian aviation industry, designed furniture along with international and Croatian design classics, and two monumental works by Katarina Ivanišin Kardum from the series The Same Sky, a tapestry and a polyptych on aluminium plates on the theme of mountains. By layering surfaces, the boundary of the interior space and the city is annulled.
